The 2016 USBC Convention passed legislation that requires all associations, both state and local to be merged by August 1, 2018. The three state associations, Pennsylvania State USBC Youth, Pennsylvania State USBC WBA and Pennsylvania State USBC BA have formed a transition committee to achieve this for the State of Pennsylvania. The transition committee has created this web site to provide information to our local associations and bowlers about the merger of the current State Associations into one new Association. The committee has selected the name you see above for the new organization, but this will need approval at the organizational meeting to be held at a later date.
The Transition Committee's Goal is simply to develop the new merged association bylaws that the delegates to the organizational meeting will ratify. We will also be developing the nominating committee and seeking applications for individuals to seek election to this new board.
The committee is hard at work to develop all of the above and to create a working manual to present to the new board to start and hit the ground running while preserving most of what the current associations currently provide.
The transition committee has completed work on the new Associations bylaws and will present at the organizational meeting for approval by the delegates.
New revision posted due to changes made at most recent USBC Convention.
