2025 HOF Inductees
Vince Mazzanti, Jr
Vince
Mazzanti, Jr enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for
his outstanding achievements in bowling.
Vince has over 75 certified 300
games, and over 40 certified 800 series. His highest
league average is 239 and a high series of 868. Vince has
been active in organized bowling for over 60 years.
Vince has bowled in 20 PA State USBC
Open Championships where he has won numerous championships.
On a national level, Vince has been competing in the USBC Open
Championships for 27 years and 20 years competing in the USBC
Senior Masters Tournament. Vince has an Eagle by his name
as the ABC Senior Masters Champion in 2005. In 1973, Vince
became a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA)
and won numerous titles on the Senior Tour and was named PBA
Senior Rookie of the Year in 2002.
Vince holds various Championship
titles within the Lower Bucks County Bowling Association and has
been on the All-Star Team for 14 years. He was voted
Best Bowler of All Time by the Bucks County Courier Times.
Along with Vince’s success on the
lanes, his service to the game is also outstanding. Vince
has been a bowling center owner/manager and a 50-year pro shop
owner as well as a certified ball driller.
He was inducted into the South Jersey
Men’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1984, Neshaminy Sports
Hall of Fame and the Lower Bucks County Bowling Association Hall
of Fame in 1992.
It is with great pleasure that we
induct Vincent Mazzanti, Jr. into the Pennsylvania State USBC
Hall of Fame.
Ken Pugh
Ken
Pugh enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for his
outstanding achievements in bowling.
Ken has 148 certified 300 games, and
104 certified 800 series. His highest league average is
247 and a high series of 887. Ken has been active in
organized bowling for over 50 years.
Ken bowled in 30 PA State USBC Open
Championships and was part of the 2017 PA State USBC Scratch
Team champions. Ken has competed in 7 PA State USBC Senior
Tournaments having won the 6 Game Scratch All-Events in 2022.
In the PA State USBC Mixed Tournament, Ken has competed 7 times
and was the 2016 Singles Champion, and part of the championship
Team in 2017. On a national level, Ken has competed in 26
USBC Open Championships.
Ken was the 2004 Berks County Amateur
Open Champion and has numerous tournament titles in the
Reading-Pottstown USBC. Ken has been selected to their
association All-Star Team at least 15 times. Ken was also
the 2022 Senior Champion in the Allentown USBC.
He was inducted into the
Reading-Pottstown USBC Hall of Fame in 2014.
It is with great pleasure that we
induct Ken Pugh into the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame.
Krista Sandt
Krista
Sandt enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for her
outstanding achievements in bowling.
Krista has 8 certified 300 games and
3 certified 800 series. Her highest league average is 227
and a high series of 845. She has been involved in
organized bowling for 40 years.
Krista has bowled in 6 PA State USBC
Women’s Championships, 2 PA State USBC Senior Tournaments, 2 PA
State USBC Mixed Tournaments and 2 PA State USBC Queens
Tournaments. She has also participated in 4 USBC Open
Championships and 2 USBC Women’s Championships.
Krista has various Championship titles and has been one of the best female bowlers in the Lehigh Valley Area for over 25 years. Krista, along with her teammates set a National scoring record in 2012-13 when her 845-set coupled with her teammates 750 and 743 gave then highest 1-Man, 2-Women Team Series of 2338. She also owns 2 female house records including 845 at Blue Valley and 824 at Hampton Lanes. Krista is a 3-time Express Times Female Bowler of the Year.
Along with Krista’s success on the
lanes, her service to the game is also outstanding. She is
a USBC Silver Level Coach and has coached youth for over 10
years and provides private lessons. She is a Regional
Staff member at Motiv and Turbo 2-in-1 grips. Krista and her
husband are the owners of Steel City Bowl & Brews as well as
BowlerX Pro Shop. BowlerX.com has become one of the
largest online retailers of bowling equipment in the country.
She is a member of the Allentown Area
USBC, Bethlehem Area USBC and the Easton Area USBC. Krista
is a Hall of Fame member in both the Allentown Area USBC and the
Bethlehem Area USBC.

induct Krista Sandt into the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of
Fame.
Susan Schickel
Susan
Schickel enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for her
meritorious service to the game of bowling.
Susan has been involved in
organized bowling for 55 years. Locally, Susan has served
both the youth and adult associations for over 20 years.
For the Lancaster Association, Susan was on the Lancaster
Women’s Board of Directors from 2002 – 2007. She then
served on the USBC Transition Committee and has been on the
merged Lancaster USBC Board of Directors since 2007. She
has been a Director, Vice President, has served on every
committee, and is currently President of the Lancaster USBC.
Susan served on the Keystone State
Games Committee in 2006. Susan has been a league officer
for over 20 years and a USBC Certified Coach since 1995.
Susan has been the PA State USBC
Mixed Tournament Director for 15 years and will be retiring from
the position this year. Susan had been on the PSBA Board
of Directors from 2011 – 2017. She has been on the PA State USBC
Board of Directors since 2018, serving as a director for 4 years
and Vice President since 2022. She has also served on
multiple committees throughout her tenure.
Susan has also been very successful
on the lanes. She has one 300 game and a high series of
787, which was the Lancaster Woman’s high series in 2007.
Susan has 12 local tournament titles, 2 PSWBA tournament titles,
and 3 PSBA / PA State USBC tournament titles. Susan also was
part of the championship team in the Jerry Murphy Invitational
Class B. She was a Quad City Scratch Champion, and
Keystone Games Women’s Silver and Bronze Medal winner.
Susan was inducted into the
Lancaster USBC Hall of Fame in 2017.

induct Susan Schickel into the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of
Fame.
Richard Schukert Jr
Richard
Schukert, Jr. enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame in
the Veteran’s Award category for his outstanding achievements in
bowling.
Rick has 30 certified 300 games and 8
certified 800 series. His highest league average is 231
and a high series of 827. He has been involved in
organized bowling for 51 years.
Rick has bowled in 28 PA State USBC
Open Championships and was a 2017 Scratch Doubles Champion.
Rick has competed in 12 PA State USBC Senior Tournaments, and 22
USBC Open Championships. Rick was a PBA member for over 20
years, having finished third twice. He has one 300 game as a PBA
member.
Rick has multiple tournament titles
across several associations, including 3 tournament titles in
the Pittsburgh association, 2 titles in Beaver Valley, 22 titles
in Lawrence County, and 2 titles in Mercer County. Rick
also has a tournament title in Ohio.
Along with Rick’s success on the
lanes, his service to the game is also outstanding. He was
a Director and Association Manager for the Lawrence County USBC,
a Director, First Vice President, and currently Association
Manager for the Beaver Valley USBC. Rick also was the PA
State USBC Senior Tournament Director from 2009 – 2019.
He is a member of the Lawrence County
USBC Hall of Fame and the Beaver Valley USBC Hall of Fame.

induct Richard Schukert, Jr. into the Pennsylvania State USBC
Hall of Fame.
Cory Wert
Corey
Wert enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame
posthumously for his meritorious service to the game of bowling.
Corey was involved in organized
bowling for 45 years. Corey began his service to the sport
as a member of the Pennsylvania State Bowling Association (PSBA)
Board in 1996; became an Area Director in 1999 and served many
years in the succession plan of the organization to becoming the
President of the PSBA. His goal was to guide the
organization during their 75th Anniversary
celebration and he was successful. Corey served as well as
chaired many of the PSBA committees. Served as the
Scholarship Trust Secretary/Treasurer and started an annual golf
tournament fundraiser to raise money for the Trust. Served as
House Chairperson for 3 State Mixed Tournaments and 2 State
Senior Tournaments as well as numerous YABA District Pepsi and
State Team Tournaments.
When the merger occurred in 2018,
Corey became an inaugural Board member of the PA State USBC
where he served on numerous committees and attended every Annual
Meeting until the time of his passing in October 2023. His
dedication and service to both organizations was a great
testament of his passion for the sport of bowling.
On a local level, Corey served on the
Central Pennsylvania Board of Directors; President and Vice
President and President the Sunbury Area Bowling Association
from 2005-2009 and held many offices in leagues throughout the
valley. He was also a Bronze Certified Bowling Coach
for over 25 years and coached three different high schools over
23 seasons; moving to ensure that each program would continue
and be successful. Through his coaching, his bowlers saw
success with winning numerous titles on the local level, State
level and Regional level both as a team as well as individual
accolades.
His passion for bowling was seen by
many adults and youth as you could find him at almost any
tournament either as a participant or as a spectator cheering on
the youth. Most knew Corey as “Mr. Bowler” as he would
promote bowling to anyone who he came in contact with.
Corey had been successful on the
lanes too, with 16-300 games bowled in 8 different bowling
centers, a high series of 798 and a high average of 221.
He has participated in 15 PA State USBC Open Championships, 28
PA State USBC Mixed Tournaments (since its inception) and 8 USBC
Open Championships.
Corey was inducted into the Sunbury
Area USBC Hall of Fame in 2009.
