2026 HOF Inductees
Yvonne Jones
Yvonne
Jones enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for her
outstanding achievements in bowling.
Yvonne has 14 certified 300 games and
2 certified 800 series. Her highest league average is 227
and a high series of 833. She has been involved in
organized bowling for 50 years.
Yvonne has bowled in over 10 PA State
USBC Women’s Championships, 20 PA State USBC Open Championships,
5 PA State USBC Senior Tournaments, 10 PA State USBC Mixed
Tournaments. She has also participated in over 20 USBC
Open Championships, 20 USBC Women’s Championships, 5 USBC Senior
Championships.
Yvonne has various Championship
titles at the local and state level. She was a member of
the Reading-Pottstown USBC Senior Women’s All-Star team from
2017-2023 (Captain 2019-2021). Averaged over 200 since 2000 in
multiple leagues.
Yvonne, along with her teammates set
a National scoring record in 2002 when her 5-person Mixed Team
recorded a series of 3668. She has also won numerous TNBA
National and Eastern Regional scratch events.
Along with Yvonne’s success on the
lanes, she volunteered as a youth bowling coach at the
Facenda-Whitaker Lanes in Norristown from 2000-2010.
She is a member of the Southeast PA
USBC Hall of Fame since 2017.
Beth Kostjal
Beth
Kirkpatrick Kostjal enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of
Fame for her outstanding achievements in bowling.
Beth has 9 certified 300 games and 2
certified 800 series. Her highest league average is 231
and a high series of 826. She has been involved in
organized bowling for 42 years. Has averaged over 200 each year
since 2000.
Beth has bowled in over 14 PA State
USBC Women’s Championships, 2 PA State USBC Open Championships,
16 PA State USBC Mixed Tournaments and 9 PA State USBC Queens
Tournaments. She has also participated in 2 USBC Open
Championships and 5 USBC Women’s Championships.
Beth has 7 PA State USBC Women’s
Championship titles, 3 PA State USBC Mixed Championship titles
and 30 Greater Harrisburg USBC Championship titles.
Beth, along with her teammates, set a
National scoring record in 2017-18 when her 4-person Women’s
Team recorded a series of 2815 in the PA State USBC Women’s
Championships.
Along with Beth’s success on the
lanes, she has served as Secretary/Treasurer for leagues at Red
Crown Bowling Center; PA State USBC Queens/Master Committee and
the Greater Harrisburg USBC Hall of Fame Committee.
She is a member of the Greater
Harrisburg USBC Hall of Fame since 2017.

Kevin Richardson
Kevin
Richardson enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for
his outstanding achievements in bowling.
Kevin has over 143 certified 300
games, and over 90 certified 800 series. His highest
league average is 245 and a high series of 858. Kevin has
been active in organized bowling for over 35 years.
Kevin has bowled in 15 PA State USBC
Open Championships and 10 PA State USBC Senior Tournaments where
he has won numerous championships. On a national level,
Kevin has been competing in the USBC Open Championships for 34
years. He also holds a Brunswick World Team Challenge
Title.
Kevin holds various Championship
titles within the Beaver Valley and Butler Area USBC
Associations. He also holds Championship titles in Colorado and
New Mexico. His team in New Mexico holds the 5-man scratch
team record-3791.
He was inducted into the Beaver
Valley USBC Hall of Fame in 2023 and the Butler Area USBC Hall
of Fame in 2025.

PJ Sonday
PJ
Sonday enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for his
outstanding achievements in bowling.
PJ has over 175 certified 300 games,
and over 150 certified 800 series. His highest league
average is 252 and a high series of 869. PJ has been
active in organized bowling for over 40 years. He
currently holds the house record at Elko’s Lanes with an 869
series.
PJ bowled in 12 PA State USBC Open
Championships, having 2 Team Championships titles. On a
national level, PJ has competed in 10 USBC Open Championships.
PJ has recorded 25 plus years winning
numerous league championships. During the past 25 years, he has
rolled a 300 game in 21 of those seasons and an 800 series in 18
of those seasons all while maintaining a 230 or above average.
He has competed in numerous PBA East Regional events and scratch
tournaments, having much success.
He was inducted into the Wyoming
Valley USBC Hall of Fame in 2022.

Renee Talkington
Renee
Talkington enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame for
her meritorious service to the game of bowling.
Renee has been involved in organized bowling for 52 years.
Renee began her service to the sport in 1997 as the
secretary/treasurer for multiple leagues; a position she still
holds today. Has served at the local level (2009-present)
through the Reading-Pottstown USBC Association Board including
the youth committee, house representative, youth processor,
lanes certification committee and from 2022-present is the
President of the Association.
In 2015 started her service at the State level as a board
member of the Pennsylvania State Women’s Bowling Association and
in 2017-2018 served on the Pennsylvania State Merger Committee.
When the merger occurred in 2018, Renee became an inaugural
Board member of the PA State USBC where she served on numerous
committees and has attended every Annual Meeting. Renee has
served as Pennsylvania State USBC Vice President and President
(2019-2022).
In 2012, Renee became the proprietor of Jay Lanes and continues to share her passion for bowling not only as an accomplished bowler herself but through becoming a USBC certified bronze coach. Hosts annual Kegel two-day training classes with gold coaches for bowlers of all ages to improve their game. Hosts multiple local, state and 600 club tournaments.
Renee has attended the USBC Convention from 2015-present to
be able to bring knowledge and best practices back to not only
her center but the Association as a whole. Renee has 6 certified
300 games and 2 certified 800 series. Her highest league
average is 217 and a high series of 833.
She has bowled in 24 PA State USBC Women’s Championships, 12
PA State USBC Open Championships, 7 PA USBC State Senior
Tournaments, 15 PA State USBC Mixed Tournaments. She has
also participated in 2 USBC Open Championships, 17 USBC Women’s
Championships and 2 USBC Senior Tournaments.
Renee was inducted into the Reading-Pottstown USBC Hall of
Fame in 2016.

Donald Ware Jr
Donald
“Ace” Ware, Jr. enters the Pennsylvania State USBC Hall of Fame
in the Veteran’s Award category for his outstanding achievements
in bowling.
Ace has 13 certified 300 games and 2
certified 800 series. His highest league average is 210
and a high series of 846. Ace’s 846 high series during the
1978-79 season was the 2nd highest series in the
Nation. He has been involved in organized bowling for 52 years.
Ace has bowled in over 35 PA State
USBC Open Championships and was a 1964 Scratch Team Champion.
Ace has competed in 8 PA State USBC Senior Tournaments, and 15
USBC Open Championships.
Early in Ace’s career he would
routinely appear on the WTAE Championship Bowling in Pittsburgh
and recorded televised wins against future PA State Hall of Fame
members Mike Shenesky and John Hriscina.
From 1968-1980, Ace averaged 191 and
then from 1981-1992 averaged 200 in the Twi Valley All-Star
League which was a premier travel league in the Beaver County
and Pittsburgh area. Ace took a leave of absence from bowling
from 1992 until 2006. Upon returning in 2006, he continued
to be successful, averaging 188 for nearly 2700 games.
Along with Ace’s success on the
lanes, his service to the game is also outstanding. He has
held multiple board positions in the Beaver Valley USBC.
Beyond the lanes and competition, Ace has made an even greater
impact through his mentorship. His mentorship extends
beyond mechanics; he teaches respect for the sport, proper
etiquette and the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
He is a member of the Beaver Valley
USBC Hall of Fame.
