2021 Star of Tomorrow Award Recipients

Our 2021 Star of Tomorrow Award Winners. Each will receive a $4,000 scholarship, paid in two $2,000 increments.

Hannah Bielawski

Hannah is the daughter of Joseph and Angela Bielawski from Beaver Falls, PA. She will be a Senior at Blackhawk High School in the fall and currently carries a 4.0 GPA out of a 4.0.

Hannah began bowling in 2^nd grade and is planning on bowling for a college team. Her bowling accomplishments include a 234 High Game and a 591 High Series. She is a member of her high school bowling team that placed 1^st in their section. She was awarded the MVP Award in her section for High Game, High Average and High Series. Since 2018 Hannah also was a member of the Blackhawks JV and Varsity Volleyball team and the Varsity Lacrosse team.

Hannah’s leadership roles include sharing the anchor position of the high school bowling team and being a Student Ambassador since 2019.

Other school activities that Hannah is involved with is the Travel Club, the LEO Club and the Student Representative with Conor Lamb discussions.

Hannah donates much of her time doing volunteer work and community service. She volunteers at the concession stand for basketball games and is a student coach for the middle school volleyball team.

Her community service includes church activities, Christmas cards for nursing homes, Ben Banks fundraiser which is a scholarship in memory of a Blackhawk student who passed away and assisted in classes for residents at the Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center. Hannah also was involved with the McGuire Memorial fundraiser for a local home serving children and adults with mental and physical challenges. Lastly, she is involved in the Green Sweep Community trash cleanup project.

Jackson Ryan

Jackson is the son of James and Joyel Ryan of Croydon, PA. He graduated in June from Harry S. Truman High School and will further his education at Midway University. Jackson carried a 4.0 GPA out of a 4.0. At college he will be majoring in pre-med studies to obtain a medical degree and doctorate.

Jackson’s bowling accomplishments include a 299 High Game and a 751 High Series. He has participated in at least 50 PA State District and State Tournaments and participated for the past 6 years in the National USBC Jr. Gold Championships. In 2021 he was the District 10 Pepsi Under 18 Champion. He has also won numerous awards while bowling for his High School team.

Jackson has held leadership roles as the captain of the high school bowling team for 4 years, a bowling Youth League Leader the past 4 years and the Bucks County USBC Youth Director from 2018 to present. He also participated in the High School Varsity Club.

Other sports Jackson participated in was the Bucks County Legends Baseball, Bristol Post 382 Senior American Legion Baseball, Big Leagues Academy Baseball, and his high school baseball team.

Jackson’s community service includes the Community Baptist Baseball Camp volunteer, the Fairless Hills Senior Bingo and is a voluntary private math tutor.
